P.S. Paulo, it is whisky, with an 'H' and... in my preferable taste... without an E (which refers to the irish and american stuff). It is, aaaarrgghhh, never mind: we'll catch up about this on Kalemegdan some day this spring.

Ooops!!! :-(( sorry mate!!! maybe my “sub-conscience” was paying you back the fact that you call Porto "Oporto" … aaaarrgghhh!!! big time!!! :-)
I hereby solemnly swear to the world, that to this day forward I shall call the “water of life" 'Aqua Vitae' that is a Gods’ beverage distilled from grain, often including malt, which has then been aged in wooden barrels … WHISKY nothing but WHISKY, so help me God!

Paulo, I'm proud of you! You definately deserved this tasting that we talked about. :D

About the Porto Vinho: it was a 40 years old "..." Damn, I keep forgetting the name of this great sip. The bottle is empty now. Finished it in two days. The best Porto Vinho San and I ever had, haha. We're now washing away 6 yrs old crumble cheese with a standard Tawny. Hope you don't mind.

Later.

"Vinho do Porto" vai bem com tudo!!! mesmo standard tawny!!!
Not sure if it goes with "raclette cheese" though...we have to go back to Strasbourg and ask our friend in "La Cloche a Fromage" :-))
Bom apetite!
